Children In Need

On Wednesday 17th November n-compass Butterfly and Phoenix project were part of BBC Radio Lancashire morning show.  Parin Begum from the show was playing a sort of hide and seek game and had to find where we were based on clues she received from the show.  We were waiting in anticipation for her to land and had dressed for the occasion. 

 

Parin did eventually find us and then Ben Powell from our counselling team was interviewed about what the Butterfly and Phoenix project does, listen here.

We are extremely lucky for the support we receive from Children in Need to support our Butterfly and Phoenix project. We have a team of counsellors supporting young people aged 11-18 in various areas across Lancashire. They help equip young people (11-18) to cope better with difficult circumstances, preventing them from escalating into more serious issues. The work we do helps to reduce psychological distress and supports young people to achieve their personal goals.
